XANTHAKIS SA is committed to protecting the environment, complying with Greek and European legislation and constantly improving its environmental performance.

 

The management of XANTHAKIS SA considers that the Management System based on ISO 14001, 901, ELOT 1801 and OHSAS 18001 can contribute to the efforts of the company to:

 

• Understand the way it operates on an every day basis, protecting the environment from any kind of pollution. Every process, procedure and working guideline is recorded and can be used as a tool for constant improvement.

 

• Reduce and possibly eliminate the fluctuation observed in the basic procedures of implementation of works. Recording the procedures contributes to the elimination of this fluctuation, thus helping the company improve its performance and reduce operation costs.

 

• Eliminate definitively and globally any problems of poor quality, through developing and applying suitable preventive and corrective measures and actions.

 

• Stimulate and improve the spirit of the employees.

 

This can be achieved by granting the control of the production processes to the employees themselves.

 

• Reduce the problems of every day operation. The company considers that engagement of the employees in the work procedures and processes, in combination with systematic training can contribute to the reduction of everyday problems.
